Handmade in the US of American Maple, this bulb planting beauty will last generations if maintained, and is the larger brother to our seed dibble. The garden dibble or dibber is the simplest, but most useful tool in a gardener's shed during planting season. Made of select hardwood, this bulb planter dibber is hand-turned in our shop, and made to order. Our dibbles are finished in linseed oil to preserve the natural beauty of the wood, and protect it from the elements and can be used for vegetable or flower bulb and seed planting. It is 11", and marked in 1" increments, which makes it easy to use with a ball shaped handle.
Wrapped in our Celtic style with burlap and baker's twine, and ready as a gift or for you!
Note: During high season there may be a production time set as these are hand made and turned in our farm shop here in the US.

I had been using my own dibbler made out of left over wood. The wood I used was too soft; when I pounded it into the ground the top would split. I decided I needed the hardest wood I could find...maple wood. There were a lot of dibblers online but I could not find one with a flat top for pounding into the ground. In addition, most did not have a good section to hold on to with strong markings to know how deep you are. Some of the dibblers I saw online were made out of a soft wood like pine. Finally, I found the Celtic dibbler which had everything I wanted: solid maple with a flat top, handle, and defined depth markings.

the experience with the celtic farm was exceptional.
here's why:
the dibber that i purchased as a gift is hand-turned by steve. it's crafted out of beautiful wood and finished with linseed oil for protection. it's a beautiful tool, one that i had never heard of before i found the celtic garden. it was wrapped in a soft burlap bag and tied with twine which makes for a beautiful presentation. it just doesn't get any better than this!
the company was communicative and kept me informed as to where the dibber was while in transit to me. i appreciate this interest that continued until the actual delivery.
i can't wait to give it to my sister for her birthday!
