What we look for in a working garden apron

The three things that matter most in a garden apron are pocket placement, strap design, and material durability. Pockets should be deep enough to hold pruners and a phone without them falling out when you bend over. Straps should cross at the back to distribute weight evenly across the shoulders, not hang from the neck. And the material should be canvas, waxed cotton, or leather — not synthetic fabric that resists neither stains nor wear.
