I bought her a different apron from another company and their version of canvas was a semi-plastic haircutting apron. This is exactly what she wanted, the canvas is sturdy but not heavy to wear and the pockets and snaps are well designed.

The apron performs as described. The pockets are very good, and items do not fall out when I lean over. It looks great on, although not the intent of acquiring it. Passersby say I look very professional. It is clearly durable, and very functional. The disadvantages are the weight, which is also the advantage for its durability. If weather is warm, it makes me feel even warmer. And it is kind of large for me, a 5'3" 130 pound female. But I will continue to use it with enthusiasm.

I was really thrilled with the aprons I ordered and so were my gardeners. Unfortunately, I am still missing one for which I have paid. On the 4th of December I ordered the first two. I received only one, but was charged on Amex for two. My second order was on the 9th of December and I received both of them and was so pleased. If the 4th one can still be sent to me I would be very pleased because I will keep that for me. Let me know where we stand with this situation.

I know that Iāll love it more, once I fully break it in, but its great now. My planter beds are 3ā deep. I used to snag and soil the front of whatever I was wearing every time Id reach across the beds, to tie my tomato plants. This apron is heavy enough to feel sturdy against the rough cedar of my planter beds, yet light enough to not be too hot to wear in the sun. And, it arrived in a sweet little burlap bag. It'd be a great gift for anyone who gardens, male or female.

So far, I love this apron. Nice deep pockets. The only issue I am having with this apron is the snaps. They are not strong enough to hold any tools. Now, I will disclose, I am an active, dig in the dirt, bending down, moving around gardener with heavy duty tools and clippers, so Iām not sure if this is a gardening apron or a florists apron? But honestly, other than the strength of the snaps, I do love this apron. The pockets are good enough for me. And the leather snap strip looks pretty, just not functional for me.

I bought this for myself, I'm an art teacher as well as a gardener. It's a good quality apron and will be handy at school and home. My only wish would be that the cord was longer and I can't double tie it round my waist at the front. I wish there had been instructions on how to loop the ties too. But it's great value for the price.
